Imagined it to be angst-relieving but it turned out to be quite a 'gentle' sport. In the sense that you don't actually require brute strength here. It's more the technique behind your swing and release point of the axe.
It's hard to get the axe to stick to the board, and even harder to aim specifically for a spot. It was fun nonetheless. Advance reservations recommended.
Also required to sign an Indemnity form before start of the session. Their staff will also brief you on the basic techniques and safety rules before the start.
Unique team bonding exercise. Thankfully nobody was throwing axe at one another. The place is also spacious to hang out with food and drinks after the games.
Instructor are friendly and helpful. They can also help you facilitate a mini “competition” among the teams if you are up for it.

Axe Factor is a unique place for us to throw axes in a safe environment. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. He gave good instructions and went around to guide us by giving us tips to throw the axes in a better way.
Overall, it's a great experience for us to throw the axes, and it's also not as difficult as we think to land the axes on the board.
You can throw it with a single hand or with both hands. The weight of the axes has 2 types, which are manageable for girls to throw as well.
The sitting area for rest is also comfortable.
For 1hr slot, it's $30. For 2hr, it's $58.
The only thing is the noise from the axes can be quite loud.
To get there by public transport would require a 10-15 minutes walk from the bus stop/mrt. It's located along the stretch that's facing the road.
This was my first time at axe factor and I was really scared, worried and nervous about throwing an axe for the first time. The awesome instructor Ben taught my friends and I how to throw the axe and he was really patient, nice, funny and super helpful and reassuring and after almost 10minutes I managed to overcome my fear and hit the target. #the satisfying sound of a thud :). I find it fun, therapeutic, cool and even though I was initially afraid, I find myself keep wanting to throw the axe at the axe board after I got the hang of it. I love the cosy ambience and music there too and it was a memorable experience for me.
This is really an amazing experience. One of a kind! We received exceptional service as well. Fas was very kind, patient and understanding of our needs. He is easy to talk to and very helpful. I brought 6 of my friends for a bachelor's party and everyone had so much fun. I would like to come down again with more groups of friends. I certainly will remember this place well! 10/10

It's not easy to hit the target, gotta be consistent with the stance, swings, release... Staff are helpful and guide us by observing and giving useful tips. Manage to strike some eventually 😁
Place is quite stuffy and warm after throwing a few attempts. But overall ok fun lah can try once
Booked 2 hours to try out as couple activity. It was a great experience and the axe-perts (staff) were experienced and helpful to provide tips. Took a shot of my “best throws”.
